🚧 Coming Soon.

Caldwell County BBQ Is Coming to North Scottsdale.

North Scottsdale is about to get a serious barbecue upgrade. The old Red Robin is being transformed into the newest home for BBQ.

Caldwell County BBQ is expanding to the Mayo Boulevard area, bringing authentic Central Texas-style barbecue to North Scottsdale. Known for its slow-smoked brisket, ribs, house-made sausage, and classic barbecue sides, the restaurant has built a loyal following across the Valley and is sure to attract barbecue lovers once it opens.

After months of searching, Caldwell County BBQ — the Central Texas-style smokehouse known for its bold flavors and no-nonsense approach to barbecue — has confirmed it will open a new location in Scottsdale in 2026.

The expansion is a big win for the growing brand, made possible thanks to the ownership team's persistence and the work of Justin Skogen of MHG Commercial, who helped get the deal across the finish line.

Since arriving in Arizona, Caldwell County BBQ has built a loyal following for its slow-smoked meats, made-from-scratch sides, and unmistakable Texas attitude. The Scottsdale spot will bring that same experience — smoke rings, rustic decor, and real Hill Country flavor — to one of the Valley's most sought-after dining scenes.

Exact address, opening date, and other details are still to come, so stay tuned.

Vilvas Indian Cuisine in North Scottsdale

Vilvas Indian Cuisine.

Some restaurants simply serve great food.

Others completely change the way you think about a cuisine.

That was our experience during our first visit to Vilvas Indian Cuisine in Troon North. What made the evening unforgettable wasn't just the beautiful dining room, exceptional service, or outstanding food—it was watching someone who had spent years insisting Indian food wasn't for her become an instant fan after one meal.

It's one of the most memorable restaurant experiences we've had this year.
