One of Scottsdale's favorite Mediterranean restaurants is getting bigger.

De Babel has announced plans for a second Scottsdale location, which will become the brand's flagship restaurant as it continues to grow. The new location is expected to open later this summer at The Edge retail development, giving fans even more access to its popular shawarma, kebabs and fresh Middle Eastern cuisine.

After closing its Old Town location earlier this year, ALMA Southwest is preparing to reopen this fall in North Scottsdale ( the old Prestons Steakhouse) with an entirely reimagined concept.

The new destination will feature a Southwest steakhouse, rooftop lounge, tequila bar, and multiple dining experiences under one roof. Target's reopening is in October.

Restaurant turnover is part of every dining scene, and this week brought another change.

French-inspired Zinqué has officially closed at Scottsdale Fashion Square. The space isn't expected to stay empty long, with a California-based restaurant reportedly preparing to move in.
