So this week, we're doing things a little differently. We went looking for Scottsdale dining specials that might actually make you change your dinner plans.

From a three-course Mediterranean dinner and a $25 Italian lunch to $2 oysters, prime rib, and a $15 tacos-and-margarita combo, here are 10 Scottsdale dining deals worth knowing about this week.

This may be one of the best reasons to go out on a Tuesday or Wednesday this week.

Cala Scottsdale is continuing its Neighborhood Nights, featuring a three-course Mediterranean-inspired dinner for $55 per person.

Want to make it more of a night? Add an optional three-course wine pairing for $30.

This one gets our vote for one of the week's best values.

The House Brasserie is offering its Fall Into Autumn prix fixe throughout October, featuring two courses plus a wine pairing for $55 per person.

Start with crispy calamari with mizuna greens, cucumber, and yuzu emulsion. Then choose between Coq au Vin paired with Foppiano Pinot Noir or roasted pork tenderloin paired with Salentein Reserve Malbec.

Here's a deal that's easy to overlook because it happens during the day.

North Italia at Kierland Commons offers a $25 Lunch Fixe, with your choice of a select small plate and entrée.

It's available daily from opening until 4 p.m. for dine-in at participating locations, and the Kierland location currently offers it. North Italia

One of Scottsdale Quarter's newer arrivals already has a happy hour that caught our attention.

The Guest House Scottsdale has $9 cocktails, including the GH Margarita, Magic Mushroom, mojito, martinis, and Old Fashioned.

But the food may be the bigger story.

Coastal oysters are $2 each, scallop ceviche is $4, spicy salmon cones are $4, tuna cones are $5, and there are additional discounted dishes if you want to turn happy hour into dinner. The current restaurant menu confirms those prices. Welcome TGH

Two tacos and a margarita for $15 at Scottsdale Quarter?

That gets our attention.

SOL Mexican Cocina offers its Taco & Tequila Tuesday, and the $15 Baja Bundle includes two street tacos plus a SOL House Margarita.

92 Drinks + Eats (aka 92nd Street Cafe & Bar) serves its Saturday Prime Rib with au jus, horseradish, vegetables, a baked potato, and a homemade roll.

Choose a 10-ounce cut for $25.95 or go bigger with the 14-ounce for $29.95.

A Scottsdale Waterfront favorite makes the list with a happy hour that's particularly good for sharing.

Olive & Ivy offers three bruschetta for $14, with combinations including prosciutto and fig, avocado, salmon lox, strawberry and goat cheese, and classic mozzarella and tomato.

Flatbreads start at $12, draft beers are $5, select wines are $10 and cocktails and martinis are $11.

We're having a hard time choosing between Cala and The House Brasserie this week.

Cala gets the edge if you're looking for a night out with a newer, livelier Scottsdale feel. Three courses for $55 is a solid excuse to finally check out Neighborhood Nights.

But for pure value, The House Brasserie may win this week. Two courses and a wine pairing for the same $55 is difficult to beat, especially at a restaurant where dinner can normally climb well beyond that.

And if neither sounds like your kind of night?

Two tacos and a margarita for $15 at SOL isn't exactly a bad Plan B.
