🌿 Pinard Wine Bar Is Becoming Brass Leaf — September 18 Is the Date
We've told you before that Pinard Wine Bar was getting a major makeover. Now we have an official date.
September 18 is the official launch of Brass Leaf, the new concept taking over the North Scottsdale wine destination at 20469 N. Hayden Road.
Pinard Wine Bar is entering a new chapter under new management, with the space being transformed into Brass Leaf, a concept built around community, connection, food, wine, and jazz.
And this isn't simply a new name on the front door. The team is reimagining the experience, bringing together a new culinary direction, wine, live music, and a stronger emphasis on creating a place where people can gather and stay awhile.
The transformation has already been underway at the former Pinard, with changes to the food program and the overall experience. Cordon Bleu-trained Chef Sidney Goodman is leading the culinary direction, bringing global influences to the menu.
🍷 But You Can Get a Taste of What's Coming Now
One thing Brass Leaf wants Scottsdale wine lovers to know about is its Saturday wine tasting program.
The sessions take place twice every Saturday and cost $20 per person, led by one of the restaurant's sommeliers.
You'll taste eight wines selected from some of the best wines of the moment, while learning about the vineyards, winemakers, and stories behind each bottle.
Want to make it a little more substantial? Add a personal charcuterie board for $10.
And members get an even better perk.
Brass Leaf members receive the Saturday wine tastings complimentary, with the ability to bring guests depending on their membership tier.
So if you've been curious about what's happening behind the scenes at the former Pinard, the Saturday tastings are a pretty good way to get a preview while the transformation continues.

🎷 Then Comes September 18
The biggest change may be the addition of jazz and a stronger community component.
The team behind Brass Leaf says the vision is to create a place centered around independent dining, great wine, music, and bringing people together.
So rather than thinking of this as Pinard closing and an entirely unrelated restaurant replacing it, think of it as Pinard evolving into its next chapter.
September 18 is when Scottsdale gets its first official taste of Brass Leaf.
